LifePoint Blogging Family
Howdy! The LifePoint Blogging Family (aka the LPBF) is a family of bloggers who are also connected to LifePoint Church here in Ozark, MO. Some of us are home-grown church members, some of us are crazy church planters, and some of us are adventurous missionaries, but we're all part of the LifePoint family. Who knows what you'll find on our blogs—our blogs range in content from theological commentary to pictures of our kids. You never know what you might read!*
How do I join the LPBF?
If you are a LifePointer and have a blog, we invite you to join the LPBF! First, send an e-mail to Sarah (saustin@lifepointozark.com), our LPBF coordinator, telling her you want to join us. (Haiku is optional.) She'll turn around and send you an official LPBF invitation with a link and instructions. (What's the big blogging deal?)
As you await the official e-mail invitation, you should set up a Feedburner account. Feedburner is a free service that helps bloggers and podcasters optimize and publicize their blogs and podcasts, and the LPBF is a Feedburner network, so you gotta have a Feedburner account and your blog's RSS feed needs to be burned.
Once you receive your offical e-mail invitation and have your blog's RSS feed burned, click on the link provided in the e-mail and follow the Feedburner instructions. Once finished, click on "My Networks" from Feedburner; if all has gone well, the LPBF will be listed on your "My Networks" page. If it doesn't appear on that page, never fear! Send another e-mail to Sarah, and she'll help you figure out the problem.
How do I subscribe to the LPBF?
You can subscribe to the LPBF using two methods: e-mail or RSS.
To subscribe via e-mail, use this link. When you click it, a pop-up window will appear, prompting you to fill in a brief form. You'll then receive a confirmation e-mail, which will contain a link for you to follow. By following that link, you'll complete your subscription. Note: You may need to check your junk mail for the confirmation e-mail. It's from emailenfuego.net rather than a LifePoint e-mail account.
To subscribe via RSS, use this link or click the orange RSS icon in your browser's URL box. Don't know what RSS is? Curious? Get the skinny on RSS here.
