Annual Events for Students

META Student Weekend (Mid Winter)

META is an exciting student weekend retreat where students get prolonged, nuanced, and concentrated exposure to gospel truths and equipping. META is named after the Greek preposition meaning “with” or “after” because here students get concentrated time with Christ and His people, and when that happens powerful change occurs. META is structured around large group worship and teaching, small group interaction over a specific topic or theme, along with an extended time of recreation or service opportunities for further growth and community with leaders and other students. Everyone is housed in local host homes where students get a chance to connect with one another and with great LifePoint host families and adult leaders.

Student Camp (Early Summer)

Summer Camp is a unique and fun environment where students can be encouraged while removed from the noise of the world in order to connect with God and others while staying on a secure campus for a week with hundreds of their peers.

Mission Trips (Mid-Late Summer)

Student Mission Trips strive to train the next generation to lead in disciple-making and effectively build the church for generations to come. Students will gather to worship and study while being partnered with a local church to help connect local kids and families to Christ. This event helps set rhythms of gospel witnessing and missional intentionality to be continued throughout life.  Students will be required to attend summer training sessions and serve in various neighborhood outreach efforts before attending.

Capture the Flag (Fall)

CTF is a fall outreach event that provides students with an opportunity to partner with their church family to love their city and engage their friends with the Gospel in a fun environment. This event includes games, competitions, food, and prizes. This event is fully led and organized by student leaders, giving them the opportunity to design and implement intentional efforts to lead their church in mission.
